The Snak Plant Laurentii is often nicknamed Mother-in-Law's Tongue due to its pointed leaves and sharp edges. However, this is where the comparison ends as, unlike the typecast reputation of some Mother-in-Law, the Sansevieria Laurentii is actually pretty low-maintenance. They only require watering on occasion when their soil is dry, so it doesn't matter if you forget about them sometimes. This West African native also loves a warm and dry environment (15-23°C, minimum 10°C). Keep your Snake Plant in bright, indirect sunlight, or a shaded spot away from drafts for it to stay happy.
This tall, indoor plant is a slow grower and will reach a maximum height of 1.2m, so you won't have to keep finding it a new home every year. Be sure to keep little Pricklettes away from this Prickle Plant as it is toxic to pets and children.
